Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The champion of the BCA Indonesia Super Series Premier Badminton Open 2015, Kento Momota, said he would miss Indonesian after winning the final round on Saturday.

"In the third set many Indonesian spectators supported me and so I will miss them," he said after beating Jan Jo Jorgensen from Denmark 16-21, 21-19, 7-21 in the mens singles to become the champion of the tournament.

The 20-year old player said he wished to return to Indonesia again in view of the extraordinary support Indonesian spectators had given to him in the final round of the Indonesia Open.

"That is what would make me to come here here again," he said.

He said he was surprised to see that Indonesian spectators suddenly supported him in the set.

"I do not know why they suddenly supported me in the third set. Thank you very much. Thank you very much," he said.

In the final round on Saturday South Korean men's doubles duo Ko Sung Hyun/Shin Baek Choel successfully clinched the champion title beating Chinese Fu Haifeng/Zhang Nan 21-16, 16-21, 21-19.

The champion title of the women's mixed doubles event went to Xu Chen/Ma Jin after the Chinese pair their fellow countrywomen Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei 21-17, 21-16.

Indonesia's only representative in the final round, Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysia Polli, playing in the womens doubles event failed to become a champion after they were defeated by Chinese pair Tian Qing/Tan Jinhua 11-21, 9-21.
