The country`s economy is forecast to grow with the disbursement ..."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian currency extended gain on Tuesday trading at the level of 13,250 per US dollar from earlier level of 13,305.
Rully Nova , a financial market observer from Bank Himpunan Saudara said signs of agreement to settle the Greek debts with credits gave positive sentiment financial markets in Asia.
The positive sentiment was one of the factor strengthening the regional currencies including rupiah, he said.
In addition, Bank Indonesia predicted that the countrys economy would improve in the following quarters of this year, he said.
"The countrys economy is forecast to grow with the disbursement of budget fund especially for big infrastructure projects especially in the third ans fourth quarter," he said.
He said he was confident that there would be acceleration of budget spending in the last two quarters of this year.
Meanwhile, the middle rate of Bank Indonesia (BI) on Tuesday gained to 13,316 per dollar from 13,318 per dollar earlier.
