Jakarta (ANTARA) - A man dressed as Indonesia's first president, Soekarno, join the "Konser Putih Bersatu", the final campaign of Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin for the upcoming presidential election, at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium in Jakarta, Saturday.
The man whose name is Teguh Budiana, wears a gray suit complete with Soekarno's style black cap and black sunglasses. He looks even more gallant with a command stick he was holding.
"I want to bring excitement by dressing up like this," Budiana told Antara.
Budiana, who born in 1951, conveyed that he have often attended many events dressing as Soekarno. In fact, he has five collections of suits and accessories similar to Soekarno's.
Thanks to his unique appearance, Budiana has caught people's attention and they wanted to take photos with him.
"I was inside (the stadium complex) and there were young people who wanted to take a picture with me," he added.
No less than 500 national musicians, celebrities, and public figures will participate at the concert, including Glenn Fredly, Ruth Sahanaya, Yuni Shara, Krisdayanti, Addie MS, Ashanty, Dira Sugandi, Teza Sumendra, Sophia Latjuba, Andien, Nirina Zubir, and Bimbo, Slank.
Jokowi-Amin's National Campaign Team (TKN) chairman Erick Thohir has set a target of one million people attending the concert, which is open and free for public.
Supporters of Jokowi-Amin have filled the stadium area since the morning, considering it's main stadium only has a capacity for total 160 thousand people.
Presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate number 01 Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin are scheduled to attend the event and deliver their political speech at 16.00 PM.
