Batang (ANTARA) - The Batang Integrated Industrial Zone (KITB) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Chungbuk Technopark from South Korea to collaborate in assisting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and industrial development.
"This collaboration includes organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops, with a particular focus on the role of innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship," said Ngurah Wirawan, CEO of KITB, in a statement received on Sunday in Batang, Central Java.
Chungbuk Technopark is a non-profit government organization in South Korea that supports MSME business programs and focuses on industrial development.
Kim Young Hwan, the Governor of Chungcheongbuk-do Province, South Korea, stated that his local government will provide assistance and initiate investments in KITB.
According to him, this collaboration will be mutually beneficial for both parties because Chungcheongbuk-do is a landlocked province without access to the sea, while Central Java has abundant marine and natural resources.
"Therefore, Chungcheongbuk-do Province is very interested and will promptly begin its investment in KITB, expecting greater synergy," he said.
