Jakarta (ANTARA) -
Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry launched the Indonesia 4.0 Conference and Expo 2025 on Wednesday, aiming to accelerate domestic digital innovation and strengthen the country’s manufacturing sector.
The two-day event runs through September 18 at the Jakarta International Convention Center.
The seventh edition of the expo, first held in 2019, is themed "Smart Nation 2025: Building Stronger, Moving Faster Toward Sustainability."
"This event targets more than 6,000 visitors from various stakeholders in the Industry 4.0 ecosystem," said Andi Rizaldi, Head of the Ministry’s Standardization and Industrial Services Policy Agency.
The event features a CEO Forum, conferences with more than 65 national and international speakers, a technology exhibition with 36 exhibitors, workshops, business matchmaking sessions, and coaching clinics for 30 companies.
The ministry also presented the 2025 Industrial Technology Startup Awards (RINTEK) to 15 companies across five categories, recognizing achievements in technology development, industrial innovation, manufacturing process optimization, and industrial services.
Since its inception in 2006, RINTEK has fostered 136 technology startups from 89 domestic companies, Rizaldi said.
Among exhibitors, Indonesian tech company PT Molca Teknologi Nusantara showcased its innovations in digital manufacturing transformation. CEO Ali Fikri said the company’s participation reflects its commitment to enhancing Indonesia’s industrial competitiveness through products such as Molca Digital Twin and Savior Box VR HSE.
Molca’s Digital Twin platform integrates real-time Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring, 3D geospatial visualization, and AI-driven analytics, enabling predictive maintenance, reducing operational downtime, and improving efficiency. The platform also supports workforce development through immersive extended reality (XR) training simulations.
Meanwhile, the Savior Box system provides immersive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training through Virtual Reality (VR) simulations, offering a modern alternative to traditional safety programs.
With modules covering firefighting, confined space, and working at heights, the platform enhances employee skills while strengthening a safety-first culture across all company branches.
