Arumsari`s performance earned her the highest point of 467, beating her Singaporean opponent Nurzuhairah Mohammad Yazid with 445 points, winning a silver medal, as well her Filipino opponent Cherry May Regalado with 444 points and winning the bronze medal.
Indonesian Minister of Sports and Youth Imam Nahrawi handed the three athletes their medals.
Indonesian athletes who are competing in the finals include Puspa Arumsari in the women`s single class, Yola Primadona Jampil and Hendy in the men`s double category, and Nunu Nugraha, Asep Yuldan and Anggi Faisal Mubarok in the men`s group category.
Other than the competition in the arts category, fighters will also go head to head in matches scheduled on Monday noon, in which five Indonesian athletes are competing.
Including Abdul Malik, who will go against Malaysian Pencak Silat fighter Muhammad Faizul M Nasir in the men`s B class (50-55 kg).
The second match will bring Aji Bangkit Pamungkas against his Singaporean opponent Sheik Ferdous Sheik Alauddin in the men`s I class (85-90 kg).
Iqbal Candra Pratama will go head to head against Vietnamese fighter Ngoc Toan Nguyen in the men`s D class (60-65 kg) in the third match.
Meanwhile, in the fourth match, Sarah Tria Monita will go against Nong Oy Vongphakdy from Laos in the women`s C class (55-60 kg), and in the fifth match, fighter Komang Harik Adi Putra will face Malaysian fighter Mohd Al Jufferi Jamari in the men`s E class (65-70 kg).
