Asian Para Games - Syuci Indriani adds gold medal for Indonesia

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s swimming-pool athlete Syuci Indriani added a gold medal after winning the competition in women`s 200 meter SM14 medley of Asian Para Games 2018, Jakarta, Friday.

Syuci who took lane 5 finished the race with a time record of 2 minutes 36.32 seconds.

"Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful. I was going all out really," said Syuci after the race.

Syuci had a narrow lead from Hong Kong athlete Chan Yui Lam who finished in the second place with a time of 2 minutes 37.01 seconds. The bronze medal was won by Japanese swimming athlete Mami Inoue who clocked a time of 2 minutes 37.41 seconds.
