We must adjust and sort out foreign investments because each country must have national security.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Chairperson of the National Winning Body (BPN) of Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, Djoko Santoso, remarked that the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair would sort out foreign investments flowing into Indonesia, if the pair wins the upcoming presidential election.

"We must adjust and sort out foreign investments because each country must have national security," Santoso said when he arrived at the venue of the fifth round of the presidential debate, Jakarta, Saturday.

Santoso's statement explained the intention of Vice Presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno to boost foreign and domestic investments.

If foreign investment is beneficial, then it should not be stopped or rejected, Santoso said.

"If foreign investment reduces our national security, it should be stopped," he said.

The fifth round of the presidential debate, where the two pairs will battle it out on stage one last time to convince undecided voters, was held on April 13, 2019, at the Sultan Hotel in Jakarta.

The fifth round of the presidential debate was centered on the economy and social welfare, finance, investment, trade and industry.

The two pairs contesting the 2019 presidential elections are Jokowi-Ma`ruf and Prabowo-Sandiaga.
