Jakarta to apply odd-even traffic policy on two-wheelers

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta will implement the odd-even policy for two-wheelers as a follow-up to the Governor's Instruction (Ingub) Number 66 Year 2019 regarding Air Quality Control immediately after discussions with related agencies. The plan to implement the odd-even traffic policy will be followed up by the Jakarta administration along with a number of agencies including the Jakarta Transportation Agency, the Jakarta Police, the Jakarta Security Transportation Board and the Transportation Management Agency Wednesday at the City Hall of Jakarta.

However, the Jakarta administration has not yet explained the plan to implement the odd-even traffic policy for two-wheeled vehicles, although the expansion of the policy will be announced soon.

The Jakarta Transportation Agency is currently finalizing the plan, Jakarta Transportation Agency head Syafrin Liputo said.

There are a number of considerations for determining a road for the odd-even traffic policy.
