The full implementation of e-Perjadin will result in the simplification of business processes by up to 60 percent, cut the average payment time from 26 days to 10 days, and reduce working hours by 80 percent.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Finance Ministry has launched an electronic system called e-Perjadin for officials' business trips to improve effective, efficient, and transparent budget implementation.

"The launch of e-Perjadin is a transformation of the country's budget management and business processes," secretary general of the ministry, Heru Pambudi, said here on Friday.

According to him, e-Perjadin has been launched based on regulatory reformation and through the application of the latest information technology.

He informed that e-Perjadin will simplify and integrate the entire process of officials' business trips, starting from planning, implementation, accountability, and reporting to supervision.

e-Perjadin, which has been developed using a centralized, multi-user, and multi-unit database, has been interlinked with the Institution Level Financial Application System (SAKTI), tech companies, marketplace, online travel agents, airlines, hotels, and banks.

Thus, officials traveling on business trips will be able to get certainty on obtaining an up-front budget for planned trips and reimbursement for unplanned trips by no later than two weeks.

With e-Perjadin, officials will not need to ask for the wet signature of an authorized official at the business trip destination.

In addition, e-Perjadin, which was launched on Thursday (August 17, 2023), will also support electronic mass transfers and optimize the Government Credit Card as a non-cash payment instrument.

e-Perjadin will also simplify financial accountability, where files of budget expenses will be stored in electronic form in a centralized database.

Pambudi said e-Perjadin is ready to be implemented.

"The full implementation of e-Perjadin will result in the simplification of business processes by up to 60 percent, cut the average payment time from 26 days to 10 days, and reduce working hours by 80 percent," he explained.

Moreover, e-Perjadin will provide insights and early warnings on officials' business trip activities and support e-audits.
