Jakarta (ANTARA) - The State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Ministry, on Wednesday, launched the media center at the SOEs Ministry Office to improve information disclosure to the public.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir stated here on Wednesday that the launch of the media center in the SOE Ministry is a means to convey accurate and in-depth information related to the ministry.

"This place (media center) is not for me but to serve the media and be part of the transparency that we encourage at the Ministry of SOEs," Thohir affirmed.

The minister said that his side is striving to be transparent with all information that develops in the Ministry of SOEs to avoid confusion in the news.

"Do not be afraid. I am very egalitarian and open. I am okay with being criticized because we are going towards that era," he stated.

Thohir expressed hope that public information disclosure from the Ministry of SOEs can continue as a form of commitment to the transformation and application of the core values of Trustworthy, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative (AKHLAK).

"The 2024 blueprint is expected to be a continuity in the ministry. We keep pushing for good transformation," he stated.

Meanwhile, Secretary to the SOE Minister Rabin Hattari stated that revitalization of the media center room aimed at creating active interaction between the ministry and the mass media.

This media center is equipped with a podcast studio, broadcast studio with a green screen, dressing room, and workspace for reporters from various media.

"We hope that this room would be used more often, so there can be more interaction between us," he stated.
