Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Chief of the Press Council Baqir Manan was rushed to Pertamina hospital in South Jakarta on Friday night for having pain on his left chest.

"According to the information I got from the family, Pak Baqir Manan was rushed to Pertamina hospital overnight. He is being treated at the ICU there," Agus Dibyo, a member of the Press Council, said on Saturday.

Agus said he did not know exactly what disease the former Supreme Court justice was suffering.

"I have not received confirmation from his family about his disease. But last night he complained of pain on his left chest," he said.

Agus said Baqir Manan was in good health when they met last week.
