Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A team of 14 legislators will conduct a tree-day working visit beginning on Monday to the village of the Baduy isolated tribe in Lebak, Banten province, a legislator said

The team, which is composed of members of the House Commission X which deals with education, youth, sports, culture and tourism, will conduct the visit in the framework of recess of the House`s 2010-2011 forth sitting period.

"We, from the House Commission X, will conduct a three-day working visit to several working partners, among others to the Baduy Luar tribe in Lebak, Banten beginning on Monday (July 25-28, 2011)," Commission X Deputy Chairman Rully Chairul said here on Sunday.

They will visit schools in Pandeglang district and held a meeting with the head of local education services in Banten province.

The three day working visit will be led by Rully Chairul Azwar of the Golkar Party faction.

Besides to Banten, the Commission also sent two other teams to Nangroe Aceh Darussalam and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) provinces.

Rully said that the aims of the visits were to build intensive communications among the House, Commission X in particular, the government and public institutions in Banten, Aceh and West Nusa Tenggara.

They will gather information on the implementation of development in the fields of education, culture, tourism, sports, youth and libraries.

Rully said that legislators when conducting visits during their routine recess aimed to gather inputs on factual data on the implementation of developments.(*)
