Mt Rokatenda eruption forces 2,675 people to take refuge

The Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) reported that, based on observations from Sept. 7-8, Mount Anak Krakatau recorded two eruption earthquakes, four emission earthquakes, 76 low-frequency earthquakes, 100 hybrid/multiphase earthquakes, continuous tremors, eight shallow volcanic earthquakes, and nine deep volcanic earthquakes.
