He was accompanied by coordinating minister for economic affairs Darmin Nasution, trade minister Thomas Lembong, foreign minister Retno Marsudi, cabinet secretary Pramono Anung and several other officials.
At a press conference before departing for state visits to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar President Jokowi said one of the talks he would hold would be about economic cooperation, investment and energy.
President Jokowi is scheduled to attend a business meeting between Indonesian and Saudi businessmen in the evening.
