Mrs. Canton said the airline did not inform about any flight cancelation, and she came to know of it shortly after she had arrived at the airport.
"We dont have any information from the airline. We were asked to wait for further notice after we tried to confirm about the cancelation," said Mrs Canton.
Another Jetstar passenger departing for Melbourne, Nicole Turner, also said she did not receive any cancelation notice before arriving at the airport.
The situation forced Mrs. Turner had to purchase an Air Asia ticket to Perth to reach Melbourne as her holiday in Bali is over.
"I have booked a new ticket with another airline because I have to go to work in Melbourne," said Mrs. Turner.
