The president at the stage of the summit was greeted by the Turkeys President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and had a little talk with Erdogan before having a sit at the specified place.
At the working lunch meeting, the head of state will discuss development and climate change issues.
Of the G20 member countries, the representatives of France and Argentina failed to come, while the United States finally attended the summit after it expressed cancellation in the event.
Meanwhile, Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi said President Jokowi will not attend the G20 summit till the end due to the domestic tasks.
According to Minister Marsudi, Vice President Jusuf Kalla will visit Manila soon to attend the APEC Summit.
President Jokowi arrived at Antalya Airport in Turkey on Saturday night or early Sunday (Western Indonesian Time) to attend the G20 Leaders Summit.
The President arrived at the Antalya Airport at 08.20 p.m. local time after a four-hour flight from the Abu Dhabi International Airport where he made a stopover for two hours.
Indonesian Ambassador to Turkey Wardana and some Turkish protocol officials picked up the President and his entourage including First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro at the door of Presidential Plane Indonesia 1.
Under the stairs of the plane, Turkish Economic Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Antalya Governor Muammer Turker, Chief of Antalya Foreign Affairs Office Rifat Koksal, wife of the Indonesian ambassador to Turkey Mrs. Wardana and Indonesian Defense Attache in Ankara Yusliandi Ginting greeted the President and entourage.(*)
