Spokesman for the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Senior Commissioner M Iqbal said here on Sunday morning that the victim was identified as Rais Karna, 37, who worked as an office boy at the Bangkok Bank branch in Jakarta.
Iqbal said the family had taken the body home from the hospital at 00.00 am local time, to Bogor District, West Java, for burial.
Rais Karna was shot on his left temple when the terrorists attacked a traffic police station at MH Thamrin Street, Central Jakarta, on Thursday morning around 10 am.
Two other dead victims, identified as an Indonesian national Rico Hermawan and a Canadian Amir Quali Tamer died at the scene after a bomb blasted at the Thamrin's traffic police station on Thursday, while at least 32 people were wounded.
Police announced on Saturday names of perpetrators who died in the car park of Skyline building, where Starbucks cafe was located, namely Sunakin alias Afif and Muhammad Ali. Meanwhile, the terrorist who died inside Starbucks was identified as Ahmad Muhazin.
The police also identified the bombers who died in the traffic police station as Sugito and Dian Joni Kurniadi.
Jakarta Governor Basuki Purnama (Ahok) said he wanted tighter security in Jakarta and security officers should be firm in taking precautionary measures.
"Security needs to be tighter and firm. Security officer must not hesitate to order anyone looks suspicious to put their hands up," Ahok said here on Friday.
On Sunday or three days after the attack occurred, the situation around Thamrin Street and Sarinah Mall are quite swarming by many people who wanted to exercise and see the incident site by their own eyes.
While, the Starbucks coffee shop and the police station still remained closed for further investigation.
