"Of the 67 scientific papers, 52 of these are scientific works of Indonesian researchers," the President of ASEA Uninet 2014 to 2016, Prof. Ketut Suastika, said here Monday.
Most of the topics are of the scientific works is science and technology, he added.
Those scientific works are from the University of Udayana, University of Indonesia, Institute of Technology of Sepuluh November, University of North Sumatera, and Airlangga University, in addition to Diponegoro University.
Meanwhile, the international academics participated in the program from the University of Salzburg Austria, University of the Philippines, University of Information Technology of Vietnam, and National Economics University of Vietnam, in addition to Chulalongkorn University of Thailand, Wroclaw University of Economics of Poland, and University College of London.
The scientific papers are divided into five group of study namely science and technology, culture and music, economic and social, and health and medical, along with maritime.
The international academic scientific work forum can introduce Indonesian researchers and their work to the world community, Suastika hoped.
"We hope to create a scientific journal. We have made a lot of research collaboration," he said.
Suastika also expected academics and researchers from Indonesia and other ASEAN countries to produce research in medical field as the number is still small.
"So far, medical research is mostly from the western countries, while some diseases in developing countries require different treatments," he said.(*)
