Surabaya, East Java (ANTARA News) - All 19 crew members of the KM Lintas Belawan , which caught fire in the sea off Maselembo on Wednesday are saved by rescuers.

The 19 crewmen including skipper of the ill fated boat were evacuated with a vessel the KN SAR 225 Basarnas of the national search and rescue agency (Basarnas) to Tanjung Perak, Surabaya.

"Thanks God , they are all safe . There is no loss of life," Marzuki, a spokesman of the Tanjung Perak port administration said here on Thursday.

From Timika, Papua , report said on Wednesday that rescue team was still searching for 13 crew members of the KM Azula sinking in the sea off the Asmat regency, Papua, on Tuesday.

The Timika Search and Rescue (SAR) office said it had sent a number of boats to search for the missing crewmen.(*)
