Jokowi was accompanied by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and Trade Minister Thomas Lembong in talks with Mogherini.
Jokowi is scheduled to make a tour of a number of European countries including Britain, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands from April 17-23.
Earlier Trade Minister Thomas said he had met with the European Union Commission to discuss economic and investment cooperation
Thomas said Indonesia was seeking free trade agreement with the EU .
Foreign Minister Retno said the government has conducted "scoping paper" as a reference for negotiations with the EU on Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. (CEPA).(*)
