The subsidiary of the Lippo Group will cooperate with The Shenzhen Yantian Port Group Co, Ltd, and Country Garden Holdings Co Ltd. to build the industrial estate called Indonesia-Shenzhen.
President Director of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk Toto Bartolomeus said the two partners of Lippo Group would be potential agents to bring in Chinese companies to invest in Indonesia.
Bartolomeus said he is optimistic that the Indonesia-Shenzhen Industrial Estate would serve as a stimulus for growth for industrial development in east corridor of Jakarta.
"The east corridor of Jakart5a has continued to grow and has become location for 2,500 international manufacturing companies from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China," he said.
He said development of the east corridor of Jakarta includes Cibitung, Cikarang, Cikampek, and Karawang, and Lippo Cikarang is located in strategic area in the center of the area.
Shenzhen Yantian Port Group Co, Ltd, is a Chinese state company, which has and operates the largest container terminal and integrated logistic service in Shenzhen, and Country Garden Holdings Co, Ltd is a major property company based on the province of Guangdong.(*)
