The founder of the Al Achsaniyyah Islamic Boarding SchoolIslamic Boarding School (Pesantren) located in Kudus District, Central Java Province Muhammad Faiq Afroni made the remarks here on Sunday.
According to him, the foreign parents who wish to send their autistic children to study in the Pesantren Al Achsaniyyah including from Irak and Malaysia.
However, now Pesantren Al Achsaniyyah cannot receive the foreign autistic children because this boarding school hasnt yet been equipped with teachers who can communicate in foreign languages such as the Arabic, Afroni disclosed.
"If (this Pesantren) has teachers who can speak in foreign languages including in Arabic, then the foreign children with autism will be received," the founder pointed out.
A total of 75 autistic children are now studying in this Pesanten with the youngest child is four years old and the oldest one is 41 years of age, he said.
"To teach children with special needs is not easy and it takes patience because the children are often angry and rampage without reason any," Afroni noted, explaining that this Pesantren is currently employing 50 teachers.(*)
