But no more tolerance for those found using drug twice or selling drug."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The office of the state minister for the reform of state institutions has said that civil servants found using drug twice would be dismissed and one found selling drug would be dismissed right away.
Assistant Deputy for Development of State Apparatus Discipline and Integrity Bambang Dayanto Sumarsono said civil servants may still keep their job if found using drug only once and was punished by the law only for less than two year jail term.
"But no more tolerance for those found using drug twice or selling drug," Bambang said here on Monday.
He said drug users are generally sent to the rehabilitation centers, but some had stood trial and were sentenced.
He said as for disciplinary sanction is the responsibility of the Civil Servant Development Authority (PPK).
The government has stepped up the campaign against drug abuses and trafficking in the country.
The government has declared the country is in emergency of drug crisis.
Earlier this month four drug death row prisoners were executed, the third wave of execution of drug convicts in the country under the present regime.
Last year, the government executed 14 including six in January and 8 in April.
