Spokesman for the West Java provincial police Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus confirmed the arrest of the soldier who is from the Siliwangi Regional Military Command III.
The city police was investigating the case.
"We have handed over the case to the drugs unit of the Bandung city police resort for further investigation," he said.
The police found the soldier carrying crystal meth on his car while they were conducting a patrol at Pajajaran Street in Bandung city, West Java province.(*)
