Putussibai, West Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - Indonesian authorities have foiled an attempt to smuggle 19.27 kilograms of methamphetamine across the border from Malaysia to Indonesia in the sub-district of Badau, Kapuas Hulu , West Kalimantan.

The team made up of military, police, customs and immigration officers found the drug in a raid .

The team arrested the owner of the drug , a Malaysian identified as Chong Chee Kok.

The drug was found in the trunk of Chong Chee Kos car in the border area of Badau sub-district on Wednesday.

The authorities also confiscated other proofs including money in rupiah and Malaysian ringgit.(*)
