Shortly after arriving at Wamena Airport in Papua, the bodies were taken into coffins made available earlier.
The AMA aircraft, which was reported missing early on Wednesday, was found at a height of 8.5 thousand feet at around 5 p.m. on that day.
The plane was discovered at S 04 10,75 and E 138 51,45 coordinates, chief of Jayawijaya police resort, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Yan Reba, told Antara on Wednesday.
The plane lost contact at around 11.00 East Indonesia standard time while flying from Wamena. It was scheduled to arrive in Derakma at 11.25 with three passengers, namely Don, Serabut, and Ondomget, on board and 508 kilograms of goods.(*)
