Bandung, W Java (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) chose Flores coffee as his drink while visiting Bandung City of West Java Province.

ANTARA reported here on Monday that Widodo also created a video blog (vlog) as he drank the coffee at Sejiwa Coffee cafe located in Jalan Progo.

"I drank Sejiwa Coffee in Bandung. It has a good taste. I was visiting Bandung, and the barista made me a cup of coffee using V60 filter process," Widodo stated in his statement recorded on his smart phone.

Indonesia is one of coffee producers in the world. The country has many popular types of coffee, including luwak coffee, Gayo coffee, Mandailing coffee, Papuan coffee, and others.

Each coffee type has a unique taste that depends on the area of cultivation and its processing method.

Widodo chose Flores coffee from East Nusa Tenggara Province. Several officers accompanied Widodo during his visit, including Minister of Public Works and Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan.

The presidential entourage enjoyed the coffee for around an hour.

Jokowi also received selfie requests from the public who have waited for him.

The president conducted a working visit to Bandung District to inaugurate the operational of Soreang to Pasir Koja Toll Road and distributed 10 thousand land certificates.

He also observed the construction of the retention pool in Cieunteung sub-district.

The operational of Soreang-Pasir Koja Toll Road will support the tourism sector in southern Bandung District, such as Ciwidey, Kawah Putih, and Situ (lake) Patenggang.

The president returned to Jakarta on Monday afternoon.
