Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Two of three alleged terrorists arrested in Temanggung District of Central Java were released after the police could not find any evidence that could link them to the terrorist network.

"Two of them, Z and L, were returned to their families," a spokesman of the Indonesian police, Inspector General Pol Setyo Wasisto, said here on Friday.

The police`s anti-terror squad, Densus 88, and the Temanggung police arrested three suspected terrorists in the district on Thursday.

They were arrested in a store on Secang Street 3 km from Bengkal Village, Temanggung District.

The three suspects are Waluyo alias Ageng from Tegal, Lukman alias Toro from Tegal, and Zaenal from Bengkal Village.

The police have continued to question Waluyo. "He is still under intensive questioning," Wasisto stated.

The squad has seized various items as evidence, including two cellular phones, six flash drives, a black wallet, a book on Islamic annulment, two debit cards, and Rp28.289 million in cash.
