The suspect identified as WR, who is head of the Land Data Maintenance subsection at the BPN would be held in detention for 20 days after being interrogated, Semarang city chief prosecutor Dwi Samudji said here on Wednesday.
Dwi said the investigators have subjective reasons for holding WR in detention citing that the suspect could run away, damage or cause the loss of material evidence.
The suspect would be held at a detention house for women in the city.
Based on calculation the amount of money confiscated as a result of raid in the house of the suspect reached Rp598 million, not including Rp32.3 million taken from the suspect at the time of her arrest.
Earlier the prosecution office already nabbed four employees of the BPN caught red handed committing bribery .
Dwi Samuji said the four identified as WR, S, J and F were rounded up on Monday from the Semarang BPN office.
