Bandung, (ANTARA News) - The Movie Development Center of the Education and Culture Ministry (Kemendikbud) has prepared a stimulant fund worth Rp40 million for the general public and community keen on making educational films.

"We provide production facilities, with financial support in the form of 10 packages, with each package worth Rp40 million," Head of Sub-Division of the Film Production Center of Film Development at Kemendikbud, Puspa Dewi noted here on Friday evening (Apr 13).

Dewi remarked that the prepared budget is a stimulant to encourage the creative society to create films with good and interesting storylines and carrying a moral message.

"The 10-package program has been running since 2016," she stated.

Dewi said community members interested in following this program can access the official website of the Film Development Center of Kemendikbud.

Dewi remarked that in addition to providing film funding assistance, Kemendikbud, through the Film Development Center, has prepared educational assistance to conduct learning, training, and workshops on movies in various regions.

It is expected that the programs will encourage people to make Indonesian movies and always support them.

"We have several programs related to film development to encourage people to boost their creativity in film making or hold the festival," she added.
