Former military chief Gatot Nurmantyo and cleric TGB Zainul Madji meanwhile have emerged as the most favorites for a vice presidential candidate, ANTARA learned here on Sunday.
Jokowi (Joko Widodo) as incumbent collected 48 3 percent of the points or the highest in electability, followed by former army commander Prabowo Subianto with 21.5 percent, Gatot Nurmantyo with 2.1 percent, TGN Zainul Madji, Anies Baswedan and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono with 1.1 percent each.
"If Jokowi rematched with Prabowo today he would remain superior," KedaiKOPI founder Hendri Satrio said.
On an open question Jokowi also remained at the top of mind of the public for president collecting 35.1 percent of votes, followed by Prabowo (12.0 percent), Gatot Nurmantyo (1.1 percent), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (0.7 percent), TGB Zainul Madji (0.5 percent) and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (0.5 percent).
"Other names collected less than 0.5 percent of votes are Hari Tanoe, Anis Baswedan and Edy Rahmayadi," Hendri said.
Public satisfaction over the government of President Joko Widodo is still high. Until now 66.5 percent of the public has expressed satisfaction over the government of Joko Widodo especially with regard to health, infrastructure, education and foreign relations sectors.
The director of Kedai KOPI Survey Institute, Vivi Zabkie, said for vice president Gatot Nurmantyo has been the most favorite collecting 17.5 percent of votes.
Other nsmes on top of public mind for the position are TGB Zainul Madji and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
"They are the top three names on the public mind as vice presidential candidates although most people (53.5 percent) have had any decision about it," Vivi said.
