The landslide cut off access of hundreds of residents of Kuala Enok and Tanah Merah villages, adjunct senior commissioner Sunarto, spokesman of the Riau Provincial Police, said.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), there are no reports of casualty in the disaster," he said.
The two villages were isolated, and therefore the local government deployed workers to rebuild the bridge.
