The finding of the ancient objects was justified by Central Lombok Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner (AKBP) Kholilur Rochman.
?"These historic objects were found by a sand miner who had been working there," he said here on Friday.
?? ?He further stated the historic objects included gold bracelets, drinking glasses, plates, pottery, jars and human bones.
???"The team of archaeologists of Denpasar will research the objects to examine their ages. The police only served to secure," he explained.
???According to Rochman, it has done sterilization and custody around the findings of these ancient objects by installing a police line. So, people will not pass and disturb the team of archaeologists Denpasar who will work around the initial discovery of these historical objects.
???"We have put the police line around the location to prevent disturbance," he stated.
???From information circulating in the local community, historical objects and bones are estimated objects and bones of ancient humans which buried by the eruption of Mount Rinjani Purba (Samalas).
