"I see that there are still many opportunities for Indonesian racers to fight in the second round in Semarang (Central Java)," the minister said here on Sunday.
In order to improve their ability, the Indonesian motocross racers need to increase experience, mentality and government support.
"We will continue to give remarkable support because the national motocross racers have many chances to compete and to become a world champion," the minister said.
He said the red-and-white (flag) team at sport series event MXGP this year, Indonesian motocross racers are able to compete with the world racers.
?? "The central government thanks all parties of the MXGP event and expected that Indonesia can be trusted to host all world events," he said.
?? In the sport series event MXGP 2018, Indonesia deployed national racers such as Farhan Hendro, Aldi Lazaroni, Asep Lukman, Lewis Stewart, Andre Sondakh and Rizky H.K.
?? This year the MXGP implementation is held at the Salahudin Pangkalpinang City`s sports arena. It ran safely, orderly and smooth. Not only that, the interest of the people of the Babel province is also very enthusiastic to watch and made the prestigious racing event a success.
Indonesia is the third country in Asia, after Qatar and Thailand, to be selected to host the event.
The MXGP sport event was introduced in 1957 and was sanctioned by international motorsport federation, the F?d?ration Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).
Dozens of motocross racers from 20 countries took part in the motocross races in the Pangkal Pinang event.
