Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had a dinner with a number of general chiefs of coalition parties at the presidential palace in Bogor, West Java, on Monday.

The deputy for protocol, press and media affairs of the presidential secretariat, Bey Machmudin, in his statement said that Jokowi had a dinner party with six general chairpersons of coalition parties of his cabinet.

They are General Chief of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Megawati Soekarnoputri, General Chairman of the National Democrat Party (Nasdem) Surya Paloh, General Chairman of the Functional Group Party (Golkar) Airlangga Hartarto, General Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Romahurmuziy.

In addition, General Chairman of the Nation Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar, and General Chairman of the People`s Conscience Party (Hanura) Oesman Sapta Odang also joined the dinner.

Earlier, Romahurmuziy said that on Monday the head of state would invite general chairpersons of the six coalition parties to a dinner party at the presidential palace in Bogor.

"This meeting was scheduled before July 15. However, it had to be delayed on the ground that the right time is only today starting at 19:00," saod Rommy, familiar greeting Romahurmuziy.
