PD Central Board Chairman Jansen Sitindoan said when contacted through his cellular phone on Sunday that the meeting was delayed until 10 a.m on Monday (July 30).
Asked about the place of the meeting as previously planned at Prabowo`s private residence in Kebayoran Baru Jakarta, Sitindoan said pleased it to management of the Great Indonesian Movement (Gerindra).
"The status of the General Chairman of the Democrat Party in the meeting is a guest. So, it is not appropriate if the guest who revealed the place of the meeting," Sitindoan noted.
When contacted through his cell phone, Jansen Sitindoan said he and several other Democratic leaders were attending a meeting chaired by the Democratic Party Chairman Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. However, he was reluctant to mention the agenda discussed at the meeting.
At a meeting between Yudhoyono and Prabowo Subianto, previously, at the private residence of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at Taman Patra Kuningan Housing, Jakarta, Tuesday (July 24), Yudhoyono and Prabowo stated that they have the same commitment to making the 2019 election peaceful, honest and fair.
Yudhoyono and Prabowo, after the meeting, also explained that they discussed the possibility of a coalition.
Earlier, it was reported that Yudhoyono is also scheduled to meet President of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), Sohibul Iman, on Monday (July 30) to discuss the possibility of coalition in the 2019 general elections.
"They will meet on Monday," Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Hinca Pandjaitan, said at the General Elections Commission (KPU) building in Jakarta on Friday night.
But he declined to elaborate on the agenda of the meeting.
He stated that PKS will host the meeting between the two party leaders.
Earlier, Yudhoyono also held meetings with Chief of the Greater Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party, Prabowo Subianto, and Chief of the National Mandate Party (PAN), Zulkifli Hasan, at Yudhoyono`s residence in Kuningan in Jakarta.
The meeting between Yudhoyono and Prabowo was held on Tuesday (July 24), while the meeting between Yudhoyono and Zulkifli was held on Thursday (July 25).
"This time, PKS will host the meeting. We will announce the venue of the meeting later on," he remarked.
