A committee member for promotion and publication of Guinness World Record, Fernando Repi made the remarks here on Tuesday.
According to him, the Guinness World Records had recognized the success of the world`s largest Poco-Poco Dance, marked by the handing over of a certificate by Paulina Sapinska, representative of the Guinness World Record.
"Meanwhile (we are) still waiting for clarification on the number of participants (of the poco-poco,)" Fernando said.
Fernando also said, his side is still waiting official results of the Guinness World Record from London, which is expected to be announced next week.
Previously, a total of 65,000 people danced poco-poco in Jakarta on Sunday morning in an attempt to break the world record.
The "Guinness World Record Poco-Poco Dance" record-breaking activity was held from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on the road in front of the courtyard of the State Palace, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Silang Monas, Jalan M.H. Thamrin, from Hotel Indonesia roundabout to Jalan Sudirman coinciding with Motor Vehicle Free Day.
A total of 65,000 people danced poco-poco in Jakarta on Sunday morning in an effort to break the world record for poco-poco dance.
A total of 1,300 instructors, 1,300 stewards, 1,300 team leaders and 200 sound system supported the course of the world record-breaking effort.
President Joko Widodo, First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, Vice President Jusuf Kalla and his wife Mufidah Jusuf Kalla participated in efforts to break the world record for the poco-poco line dance.
The efforts to break the world record for poco-poco gymnastic are also aimed at promoting the 2018 Asian Games which will be held in the cities of Jakarta and Palembang from august 18 to September 2.
