"Being able to defeat Iran in this tough match makes us very grateful," South Korea coach Kim Hak Bum said.
The success of South Korea won the match, called Kim as the fruit of good cooperation carried out by his men. "Good teamwork can defeat opponents," he said.
South Korean player Lee Seungwoo added that he and his colleagues in the field only tried to carry out the coach`s instructions as best as possible.
"Next we just stare at the match against Uzbekistan, so that the target of winning the gold medal can be achieved," he said.
Meanwhile, despite having to finish the performance at the 2018 Asian Games earlier, Iran coach Kranjcar Zlatko said that his team`s target had been met.
"When we arrived to compete in the Asian Games, we only set targets to advance to the round of 16 and it was fulfilled," he said.
In addition to achieving these targets, another thing that makes Iran able to go home proudly is the amount of experience and lessons that can be learned by players to compete in other opportunities.

South Korea`s U-23 national team wins over Iran`s U-23 national team in the last 16 of the Asian Games XVIII / 2018 men`s soccer at Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Bekasi Regency, on Thursday night.
South Korea`s two winning goals were contributed by Hwang Ui Jo in the 41st minute and Lee Seungwoo in the 54th minute.
