Palembang, S Sumatra (ANTARA News) - The soft tennis sport contributed three medals, namely one silver and two bronze, for Indonesia on the second day of the soft tennis match at the Jakabaring Tennis Court Complex in Palembang on Wednesday.

The silver medal was won by Alexander Elbert Sie, after the final round against South Korea`s representative Kim Jinwoong, despite fierce opposition.

In almost every game, the final match between South Korea and Indonesia must be completed with deuce.

Unfortunately, Elbert could not maintain the longer stamina, as he faced problem with his waist.

After having to go through the quarter-finals, semifinals, and finals in one day with a time lag of 30 minutes each, the match finally ended with a score of 4-2 for South Korean players.

Meanwhile, two bronze medals came from men`s singles and women`s singles, each contributed by Prima Simpatiaji and Dwi Rahayu Pitri.
