"We know (decision) of the PSSI`s disciplinary commission. So we will comment on it if we get results over the appeal," he said here on Wednesday.
A Jakmania member (Persija`s supporter), identified as Haringga Sirla, 23, was killed in the courtyard of the Bandung Lautan Api sports stadium in the West Java provincial capital of Bandung on Sunday (September 23), as a result of being mobbed by suspected members of the League 1 participant, Persib Bandung, supporters.
Persib was sanctioned by PSSI due to several incidents during the Persib vs Persija match on 23 September. One of them being that Persib has to play home games outside Java Island and its fans cannot watch the games until the end of the League 1 Indonesia 2018 season.
Another sanction in the form of playing without spectators is also applied during the next season`s competition until the first half of it (season).
In addition, Persib`s organizing committee is disqualified from being allowed to be active in football activities for two years.
Meanwhile, some of the Persib players are banned from playing two to five times, namely Bojan Malisic, Ezechiel Ndouassel, and Jonathan Bauman.
Regardless of the outcome of the appeal made by Persib, the players will keep trying to play well in every game.
In the meantime, Persib`s manager Umuh Muchtar also questioned PSSI over whether or not it had reported various events that occurred during the match between Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung to FIFA.
