The company displays a miniature of a city that uses solar panel to supply power to the city and operate railway signal system, in the Indonesia Pavilion, held during the IMF-WBG annual meetings on October 8-14 in the resort area of Nusa Dua, Bali.
"It attracts especially delegates from African countries. A delegate of Madagascar has expressed his interest and said that Africa has abundant solar rays and this has been one source of renewable energy," a guest relation Andri Cahyani said here on Thursday.
The railway signal system is a set of facilities to control train operation.
The Len Interlocking System (SIL) has been installed in more than 150 railway stations in Indonesia, including the 435 kilometers northern line of Cirebon-Surabaya double track.
The advantage of the signal system is that it has high capability of operation, competitive price, priority to safety and system that can be developed.
PT Len Industri displays two models of the solar panel in Indonesia Pavilion, the static and dynamic models installed in a car.
"The delegates are interested to see the dynamic model installed in a car as it can be easily transported to remote areas," Andri said.
