During the two-day meeting, participants will hold discussions and share experiences with regard to democratic practices, the Indonesian Foreign Ministry said in a written statement posted on its official website on Wednesday.
The theme of the BDF this year is also aimed at encouraging stakeholders to understand and answer the challenges to create prosperity through democracy.

The panel discussions will feature ministers, academics, CEOs, and experts.
After the panel discussions, the delegates will meet in a general debate with Indonesian Vice Foreign Minister A.M. Fachir being the chairman of the session.
The 11th BDF will end on Friday (Dec 7), during which the outcome of the forum will be read out along with the results of Bali Democracy Students Conference (BDSC) II and Bali Civil Society and Media Forum (BCSMF) held in parallel to the 11th BDF.
