The epicenter of the quake which struck at 09.50 a.m. was located in the sea 160 kilometers southwest of the district at a depth of 10 kilometers, the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Office in Bandung said.
The quake did not have the potential to cause a tsunami, it said.
