The budget allocations are based on Law No. 12 of 2018 on the 2019 state budget.
The minister added that the realization of the state budget 2018 until November remained sound.
"The deficit was recorded at 1.95 percent of the national gross domestic product (GDP) compared to 2.59 percent in November 2017. This is the lowest since the budget year 2014," she explained.
She noted that the sound state budget 2018 has laid a positive basis for the realization of the state budget 2019.
Based on macro assumptions in the state budget 2019, economic growth is projected at 5.3 percent, interest rate at 5.3 percent, rupiah`s exchange rate against the dollar at Rp15 thousand per dollar, and oil price at US$70 per barrel.
The state budget 2019 will focus on improving the capacity of human resources, strengthening infrastructures, increasing the effectiveness of social protection programs and the implementation of democracy agenda, creating more efficient and effective bureaucracy, and mitigating natural disasters.
