"I see your faces are bright because you all have received the certificates. I am very happy (to see you) from all the districts gather here and we hope these certificates are beneficial for our families," Jokowi said at the governor`s office on Sunday.
The president made the remarks while handing over the land certificates that were symbolically received by 12 land owners.
The target of issuing land certificates in Jambi Province in 2018 reaches 135 thousand, and the certification target for all plots of land in Jambi is no later than 2025.
"Why are these certificates distribution accelerated to the people? Because there are land disputes in all provinces. I am sad to see all that," the president disclosed.
The land disputes occur among communities, communities and governments, communities and companies, and more people lose.
"Therefore we need legal proof of the lands we have, namely the certificates," the president said.
The certificate recipients come from 11 districts / cities in Jambi province namely, Jambi, Batang Hari, Bungo, Merangin, Kerinci, Tanjung Jabung Barat, Sarolangun, Tebo, Muaro Jambi, Tanjung Jabung Timur and Sungai Penuh.
