Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA) - Garuda Indonesia General Manager for Malaysia Fredrik Kasiepo handed over the bodies of two Malaysians killed in Sunday's earthquake on the Indonesian island of Lombok to Malaysian Transportation Minister Anthony Loke Siee Fook at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Tuesday.

The bodies of the Malaysian nationals identified as Datin Tai Siew Kim and Lim Sai Wah arrived at the airport at 05.19 p.m. local time via Garuda Indonesia flight GA 816.

"On behalf of the management of Garuda Indonesia and the people of Indonesia, we offer our deep condolences to their families through Malaysian Transportation Minister Anthony Loke Siee Fook who will later hand over the bodies to their families," Kasiepo said.

The two Malaysians were victims of a landslide in the vicinity of Tiu Kelep waterfall in North Lombok district in the wake of a series of earthquakes that rocked Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara province, on Sunday (March 17).
