The quick count results indicated the PDIP garnering 19.49 percent of the total 91.58 percent votes counted as of 1:41 p.m. local time.
The Greater Indonesia Movement stood second, with 13.37 percent, and the Golongan Karya (Golkar) Party came third, with 11.64 percent.
The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) was in fourth position, with 9.69 percent; while the National Awakening Party (PKB) came fifth, with 8.97 percent; and the National Democratic Party (Nasdem) was ranked sixth, with 7.84 percent.
The Democratic Party trailed behind, with 7.63 percent; followed by the National Mandate Party (PAN), with 6.83 percent; and the United Development Party (PPP), with 4.4 percent.
Seven political parties, including the Indonesian Union Party (Perindo), with 2.67 percent of the votes; the Working Party, with 2.12 percent; the Indonesian Solidarity Party, with 2.07 percent; and the People's Conscience Party (Hanura), with 1.64 percent, are likely to fail to meet the four-percent parliamentary threshold.
