Sorong (ANTARA) - A distribution station, as part of 133 programs on one-price of fuel oil, was inaugurated in the Ayamaru North District Yukase Village, Maybrat District, West Papua Province, by the Commissioner of the Downstream Oil and Gas Distribution (BPH Migas), M Ibnu Fajar, on Friday.

The inauguration was attended by Deputy District Head Maybrat Paskalis Kocu, Retail Marketing Manager Region VIII PT. Pertamina (state oil company) Fanda Chrismianto, head of the regional apparatus organization and the Maybrat District community.

M Ibnu Fajar said that the one price fuel distributor was proof of the government's focus on the community, so that people could enjoy equitable energy.

He said that the distributor of fuel oil and gas with one price in North Ayamaru was the second one price oil and gas distributor to be inaugurated in Maybrat District after a distribution l had been inaugurated in Kambuaya Village, Kayamaru Timur District, in 2018.

He hoped that with the presence of the one price oil and gas distributor at Maybrat, he could provide the community with economic development and a better life.

Deputy District Head of Maybrat, Paskalis Pocu, who gave a separate statement, said that the Maybrat District administration greatly appreciated the presence of one price distributors because it was easy for people to buy fuel at affordable prices.

According to him, before the one price oil and gas distributor in North Ayamaru, the surrounding community used to buy fuel oil for Rp10,000 per liter. Now, people can buy fuel at a much cheaper price of Rp6450 per liter for Premium and Rp5150 for diesel oil.

Meanwhile, Fanda Chrismianto said that the one price program for oil and gas to date had reached 133 locations, 30 of which are in the areas of Papua and West Papua.

"We hope that all parties will take care of the oil with one price distributor program to ensure it runs as it should," he added.
