Semarang (ANTARA) - The Central Java provincial government's annual agenda in the form of the Central Java Fair to be organized from June 28 to July 14, 2019, will be themed "Splendor of the Borobudur Temple."

"The theme is the noble and glorious Borobudur, or 'Glorious Borobudur,' as Borobudur Temple is a global asset of Central Java. Hence, we work in partnership with PT Taman Wisata Borobudur Prambanan Ratu Boko, and this year, we will launch Borobudur as a spiritual and cultural preserve and not just tourist attractions," Director of the PT Central Java Development Promotion Recreation Center (PRPP) Titah Listiorini noted here on Thursday.

Listiorini elaborated that her side will adorn the center's complex in Semarang, the capital city of Central Java Province, with nuances of the Borobudur Temple for a period of 17 days when the 2019 Central Java Fair will be held.

Decorations will comprise showcasing the Borobudur Mini Park area or a replica garden of Borobudur Temple, Borobudur Art and Agriculture and the Borobudur Culinary Fair area.

Moreover, visitors to the Central Java Fair 2019 can experience a laser beam show that will put the spotlight on Borobudur Temple's ornaments.

For exhibitors, the fair's organizers will present outlets offering prime products, such as tourist attractions, culinary arts, and handicrafts of 35 districts and cities in Central Java, including exhibitors from state and regional enterprises, the private sector, to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

"The entry tickets are priced at Rp15 thousand (Monday-Thursday) and Rp20 thousand (Friday-Sunday). Visitors will also be enthralled by stage performances of Nella Kharisma, Hanin Dhiya, Ndx Aka, Fourtwnty, Souljah, Grassrock band, Ita Purnamasari, and others," she revealed.

The 2019 Central Java Fair is targeting to receive 500 thousand visitors.

In the meantime, Secretary of the Central Java provincial administration Sri Puryono is upbeat that the annual Central Java Fair event will highlight innovation and creation to draw visitors and boost economic growth in Central Java.

"This Central Java Fair is part of a series of the Central Java Province Anniversary celebrations, so I am looking for a breakthrough in innovation and creation every year, thereby making it truly festive. However, this innovation must also be followed by guaranteed safety for visitors," he added.
